Magic of Natural Make-Up

The secret of smart make-up is to keep it natural. But often unhygienic and wrong use of make-up causes harm. Here are the best beauty tips to avoid a make-up mess:

- Eye care: To ensure healthy eyes change your mascara every three months, eye shadows every six to twelve months and sharpen your eye pencil regularly.

- Mascara basics: To avoid mascara smudging, apply a thin layer to the top lashes only and then use an eyelash brush.

- Natural glow: A gel blush or cream gives a more natural look than a powder.

- Brow beauty: For a natural look, eyebrows must not look pencil thin. Use a definer for extra volume. - Eyeliner tips: Use liquid liner instead of a pencil, to avoid smudging in the crease of the lid.

- Foundation fashion: While choosing a concealer or foundation, check the shade on the palm side of your wrist. It tells whether the shade would look natural on you.

Haute Hair Tips

A homemade hair pack is better than shampooing. Natural stuff like apple cider vinegar keeps shampoo toxins at bay. The right hairdo makes the correct fashion statement. Always discuss your face shape with your hairdresser, to decide on a style

Hair Moisture is Important

If you have long curly hair, do not apply too much strange substance on your hair, pull it too tight with your hair brush and you should refrain from using hot air to straightened it. Why Everyone Needs a Makeover

Whether or not you enjoy watching others get makeovers on television, it’s almost certain that you are due for a makeover yourself. How do I know? Because everyone needs a makeover from time to time. Makeovers keep your look fresh and youthful, and undergoing a makeover also helps you to discover new looks and styles you didn’t realize looked amazing on you.

The Annual Makeover
If you ask anyone who works in the fashion industry, they will tell you that the majority of fashions are annual or even seasonal. Little tweaks and new fabrics make what’s trendy this season totally outdated by next season. To you, that means the fun items you loved at the beginning of school last year are no longer going to cut it in the high school hallways this year.

Already you likely enjoy elements of a makeover right before school starts after a summer break. You probably go shopping for new clothes and possibly pick up a new eyeshadow and lip gloss to mark such a special occasion. If you’re addressing your lips and eyes, why not tackle you entire self – inside and out – at least once a year?

External Makeovers
Invite a friend over to enjoy working on entirely new yous together. Flip through magazines or website to get ideas about new haircuts and cool colors to try. Then use makeover games online to practice new make up techniques and see just how to work a new hairstyle before you actually head to the salon.

If you find it challenging to make a dramatic change, it’s not necessary to do so. You should examine all of your style elements and when you realize that you don’t look as great as you could, it might be time for some layers or perhaps some bangs to make the old you just a little bit more updated.

Internal Makeovers
Of course, your outside isn’t the only part of you that needs consideration during a makeover. Makeover games can show you what your outside will look like after a change, but only experience and paying attention to your emotions and thoughts can tell you how your insides will change.

Self confidence is an interesting animal. Some people can be dressed in paper bags and still project absolute certainty that they look and feel great. Others, or really the rest of us, need to know that we look good before we’re willing strut our stuff down a hallway full of friends and maybe a few enemies.

During your makeover, pay attention to what feels good and what feels awkward. If you don’t feel comfortable in hot pink pants, you might just be uncomfortable trying something new. Put them aside and see how you feel in other new styles. If you feel odd in everything new, you’ll need to take some time to open yourself up to new ideas and styles. If, however, you love everything you try on except those pink pants, no matter how great they look on, skip them – it’s unlikely you’ll ever wear them when you get home.

Long Hair Care Regime

Most women would like to have long, silky hair, but not many of us know that having long hair is not easy to maintain and it could be expensive at times. Some do not mind to spend that money as long as they have long shiny hair which is a sign of health. When the hair is healthy the layers of the cuticle lie flat and reflect light. Therefore, long hair care is a very important issue to learn about, because there is s lot more hair to worry about and specific types of products that are needed for that specific purposes.

There are several different parts of long hair products. The first one is shampooing. There are many different types of shampoos which you can choose from, but for long hair care it is best to use one that is going to focus on taking care of split ends. The shampoo should not be too drying but the hair must not be feeling oily or greasy at the same time.

The ingredients that are included in the shampoo formula is going to definitely have a great impact on how well it works on the hair especially for long hair care. That is why it is so important for you to read the label on the shampoo. Generally the best shampoos are the ones that are all natural and which contain no chemicals or byproducts, because all the ingredients mentioned earlier, they will be gentler and more nourishing on the hair.

Long hair care will need you to find a best conditioner. Again the option here will depend largely on the type of hair that it is going to be used for. Just because a person has long hair, this does not mean that they still do not have a certain hair category. There are fine, medium, and thick hair types, and it is very easy for a person to know which they are.

What you have to do is to tie your hair back into a ponytail, and look at the size of the ponytail. If the ponytail is small, it shows the finer the hair, and the bigger the ponytail is the thicker the hair is.

Choose a rich, moisturizing conditioner, especially if your hair tends to get dry or there are a lot or has a lot of product used on it. In long hair care regime, it is vital to be using a volumizing conditioner especially if your hair is limp and fine because this will give body and volume to the hair. Hair can become immune to a specific formula's effects and as a result buildup will occur so it is always a good idea to change the brand of conditioner every month or so.

Things to remember

It is very important for a person who want to keep long hair must know long hair care and so that it is healthy and shiny looking, as long as they take proper care of it and use the right hair products.

Get Started With Innovative Nail Art Designs

Well manicured and well groomed nails are always a strong indication of a person's personality and also reflect their style. Today the nail fashion trend is greatly inclined towards nail arts that is not only unique in every aspect but also gives a stunning look to the otherwise dull looking nails.

A lot of young and fashion conscious women are taking on to nails art as the best way to get rid of dull looking plain nails. From just wearing a color on your nails, nail art enhances the beauty of nails with its innovation in the form of small motifs, danglers, stones, glitters, ceramic flowers, etc which will make your nails stand out for any occasion.

Creating decorative designs on nails is not always easy and requires a lot of professionalism and creativity especially if you are planning on some intricate designs. A well done art can brighten up your overall appearance and complement your outfit to a great extent. Nail arts designing can vary from subtle and delicate designs to bold and funky designs.

Nails art requires certain basic steps to be followed to get the application perfectly. Before you start with nail designing, make sure you clean and shape up your nails properly. Trimming your nails and filing them is necessary to get the best result. Even the best of the artists cannot create beautiful designs on your nails if they are in a bad shape and not well kept. You can also consider using acrylic nails if your nails are in a real bad shape and beyond repair. The nail art design can then be painted over these artificial acrylics.

Once your nails are painted with a base coat, you can create your designs using the nail arts brushes that are available in different sizes based on the design you want to draw. Intricate designs will require more thin tipped and finer nail brushes to get the design right and visible. The use of toothpicks is also not uncommon especially if you are a beginner and want to improve your designs. For any nail polish application mistakes, you can use cotton swabs to remove the excess color. Make sure you do it quick as nail polish dries very fast. It is also good to use a different brush for each nail polish color so that you can save time.

Nails art designs can be created using different methods. Novices mostly prefer to create their designs by copying them from nail art books or seeing them on the Internet. One can also learn nail arts through courses offered by some professional nail salons. However, even if you possess minimal artistic capability, you can create simple easy floral designs or geometric shapes which do not require high end training.

While much of the nail art designs use a combination of nail polish colors, one can also add some glitter into the nail polish before painting to jazz up your nails. The use of other nails art accessories like rhinestones, acrylic stones, 3D nail stickers, ceramic flowers, fimo art pieces, crushed shells, etc to name a few are also being widely used to highlight the nails and give them a more sophisticated look.

Once you have completed your nail designing, it is important to maintain your nails properly to prevent your nail arts from chipping and to last long. The best would be to apply a clear nail polish coat over your nails every 2 to 3 days and try wearing gloves while working to prevent any nail damage. Most important, avoid biting your nails to keep your nails in good condition and also your nail art intact.

Take advantage of our great Gel-Nails offers and deals every week and update yourself with what's the latest and the most popular in the gel nails trend. Beauty Tips Your Own Personal Spa Treatment

With the availability of various types of body scrubs you don’t need to visit the sap to get the feeling of soft skin. All you need to do is just buy a bottle of body scrub and take it to your next bath.

Why pay an arm and a leg at the spa, when you can treat yourself to your very own at home spa? Sure, there are many services you may find at the spa that you may not find at home, but one of the most popular services can be done right within the comforts of your home; body scrubs. People love body scrubs for a variety of reasons, but the results are the best, smooth, soft skin.

Now, you can have the same soft, smooth skin that you have after leaving the spa, right at home, without the excess costs and hassles. There are a great deal of body scrubs and accessories available for purchase today over the internet, in department stores, or even in the spas themselves. Every product is different, they all use different ingredients, have different scents, and come in different sizes, at different prices- but they all have the same general result, softer, smoother, and more enjoyable skin.

Some body scrubs use sea salt to exfoliate, combined with a suspension of coconut, sunflower, and almond oil. Another type might use coarse sugar as an exfoliant, with a suspension of grapefruit, soybean, and coconut oils. Other types of exfoliants might be apricot shells and grape seeds, mixed with a variety of suspensions that might include several oils such as pure essential, chamomile, rosemary, tea tree, rose geranium, sage, and mandarin, mixed with several other types of vitamins and extracts.

In some cases, you will need to mix the exfoliant and the suspension together, in other cases no mixing is needed. You will then moisten the skin and massage the body scrub on the skin as directed on the package. With some bath and body products, depending on what you buy, you may not need any accessories with the scrub, simply massage it onto the skin with your hand, then rinse thoroughly. However, you might want to use a loofah or a body brush for more effective treatment. A loofah can also assist in removing dry and damaged cells, exposing the fresh and radiant new skin under it.

With the best body scrubs available for you to purchase almost anywhere, you can take advantage of the spa right within the comforts of your own home. Just make sure that you clean up the body scrub residue after use, it is not a dissolving product, you will find that a residue is left on the shower or tub bottom, which could cause damage to the enamel of the surface. Apart from that you are all set to enjoy your day.

Weight Loss Success – Slim Down Secrets

You can lose weight by just cut your daily intake of calories and exercise more. When your organism finds it cannot extract the necessary energy from the food you consume, it will start burning the fat deposits in waist and other parts of your body. So, the most natural way to lose weight is to keep to a diet, which reduces the energy your consume and do regular exercises to burn energy. The fact is Obesity is caused when there is a problem with your metabolism which in turn starts a vicious cycle. Understanding the way your metabolism works is the key to breaking this cycle of obesity.

Raw nuts are better for you than roasted nuts because the roasting oxidizes some of the healthy fats in the nuts and destroys some of the nutritional value. Raw nuts on the other hand help to preserve the vital nutrients that aid in giving your body what it needs to maintain proper fat burning hormone levels and appease your appetite. The end result -- faster weight loss by eating these healthy fats.

Scientists have well documented the positive effects of having a glass of red wine with each meal, much like most French residents. The French primarily eat a high fat diet, however were always proportionate to their weight. The observations concluded that red wine was a large factor in this phenomenon. This is why resveratrol and weight loss were linked in the first place.

People who are involved in a high fat diet are destroying their health in the long run and are subjected to a short life expectancy. However, resveratrol can help with this because of the amount of red wine that is in it. Another category of weight loss supplements includes appetite suppressants. They reduce your appetite by making the organism think it is already full. One of the most popular herbal appetite suppressants is Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia is a cactus-like plant which grows in South Africa. Its appetite suppressing capabilities were well-known by Bushman who used it during their long hunting trips. Since Hoodia Gordonii is a purely natural treatment, it doesn't have any side-effects associated with synthetic prescription appetite suppressing drugs such as Phentermine.

As far as weight loss management is concerned, changes in food patterns go hand in hand with a regular exercise program. It's true that most people hate to move their bodies. Given a choice, we would all much rather take a cab or use the elevator. But, you cannot maintain weight loss if you stop exercising. As you grow old, your metabolism naturally slows down and nothing can shake up your metabolism like a healthy dose of exercises.

The first thing you might like about these workouts is that you won't end up sweating like a pig. But the primary benefit of working out like this is that is trains your metabolism to work at a much faster speed - all day, everyday. Short workouts are much better for this than one long workout. Here's an easy way to get going with this. Just start doing exercising during the commercial breaks of your televisions shows. It's easy to remember when to do this and it's efficient.

Supplemental Vitamins Do I Need Them

Majority of us are doing our best to always have a well-balanced diet so as to keep ourselves fit, healthy and strong. But no matter how much we may eat to get enough of the vitamins and minerals we need, we cannot solely rely on natural sources like food, fruits, vegetables and the like. No matter how much we stick to what is natural with no preservatives, one way or another it loses essential vitamins. Take for example freshly picked vegetables. By the time it reaches our mouth, it may have gone through the process of being transported all the way to the supermarket, sitting on the store shelf, being bought, sleeping inside your refrigerator for some time and eventually being cooked before being eaten. By the time you eat it, only a fraction of the vitamins is left for your body to absorb.

You also have to take into consideration that majority of the world's population consume processed food packed with preservatives. The changing lifestyles over the years have made people rely on food to go like fast foods and junk food.

Our body needs vitamins to function properly so it is important that we replenish it daily. Our body requires vitamins to prevent from getting weak, sick and contracting diseases. We also need vitamins to boost our immune system. We need vitamins to help battle against the viruses that may be contaminating our body when we get sick. When we cut ourselves, we need vitamins to help our body repair the damaged tissue. Every little thing that happens inside and outside our bodies in one way or another requires a certain vitamin.

We may exert the extra effort to eat the right kind of food but we may not be getting the vitamins needed in appropriate amounts. How can the body and the vitamins work together to convert the food that we are eating into energy if we don't get the daily need of vitamins? Because of these reasons we need to take
supplemental vitamins or better yet multivitamins to enable our body to get its needed daily dose of vitamins. This goes especially for those vitamins that are water soluble like vitamin C and the B vitamins which need to be replenished every day because what the body does with these vitamins is that the quantity not needed is just discharged by the body when you urinate.

Hair Coloring Tips - Home Hair Coloring Tips

Some hair professionals may try to discourage you from doing your own home hair color, saying that drugstore hair color products are harsh and the results can be uncertain. But the truth is that you can achieve excellent results and save a lot of money by coloring your hair at home as long as you know a few basics about choosing the right color and applying it correctly. The advantage of hair coloring is that a person can opt for a hair color that goes well with his or her looks and also according to the personal choice. Coloring the hair improves the confidence and looks of a person. Hair coloring gives an instant change to the person’s look. The changes can range from subtle, simple to the major and dramatic one. Hair color has an impact on the texture of the hair as it gives instant volume to fine and thin strands of hair and also affects the waves and curls in some cases.

Hair Color Mistakes

1. Applying dye to dirty, tangled hair.

2. Staining your skin or clothes.

3. Picking a color that does not fit with your natural hair color.

4. Dying eyebrows and eyelashes.

Hair coloring is not new to people as it has been carried out in the past too. Now there are various colors from blonde to blue made possible for both men and women. Hair dyes are made up of either bleaches or pigments or colors. The natural hair color of any person is due to the genetic or hereditary factors. Hair coloring can add fun, shine and drama to the hair style.

Permanent hair colors break the hair cuticle and deposit pigment in the hair shaft. Permanent color is said to lighten the hair as the hair is bleached and then the color is deposited in a single step process. Hair color is formed by the movement of the light rays either through absorption or reflection caused by artificial pigment which is added to the hair during the tinting process or by the natural pigment of hair. Permanent hair colors are used to cover gray hair to a large extent and it is also said to cause damage to the hair if they are used for a longer term and can even result in irreversible damage to the hair. Natural hair color is formed by the absorption or reflection of the light rays by the pigment called melanin. The amount, distribution and size of the melanin determine the hair color of the person.

Healthy Hair – Hair Coloring Tips

Shampoo that’s made for color treated hair keeps your hair color soft and natural looking. Regular shampoos can strip color and natural moisture from your hair.

Install a water filter for your shower or bath. Besides frequently being treated with chemicals, tap water coming through old plumbing contains undesirable elements like rust that leave your new hair color flat and dull looking.

Deep condition regularly – at least every two weeks – to restore moisture and shine to color treated hair. As roots grow out, a color enhancing conditioner will help your natural hair color blend with your color treated hair.

After shampooing, always blow your hair dry. Don’t rub hair dry or wrap it in a tight turban. When using a blow dryer, dry your head– not your hair. Over drying hair strips it of moisture and also results in static.

Caution while applying temporary dyes

Application of dye on chemically processed hair or the application of the wrong dye can result in odd colors. So it is usually recommended to choose a shade somewhat lighter than the natural shade of your hair.

Need a Change in Your Personal Style

Are you tired of the way you look? Feel like you need a change, a refreshing new look? You need a makeover!

Some call it vanity, but studies have proven that your physical appearance has a strong impact on your self-confidence. Leaving the house in the morning with your hair and makeup just right and an outfit that you feel attractive in, sets the mood for the rest of the day. On the other hand, if you feel unattractive, you are less likely to be outgoing and spontaneous.

One of the first things that people notice is hair. If you have healthy, striking hair and a great haircut, people take notice. If you have unmanageable hair, you are less likely to be noticed, and people naturally assume that you don't care about your appearance.

You may not realize this, but your
hairstyle says a lot about your personality. Amazingly, there are quite a bit of people with hairstyles that don't truly match their personality. Which is one of the main reasons people get bored with their look and decide to make changes. But not just in their hairstyle, but their overall personal style.

Beauty is an important element of life, especially to women. Some women go to drastic measures to obtain the beauty that they think will make them happy. On the other hand, many are afraid to make those drastic changes. For these women, a new hairstyle, a simple makeover or a complete change in their appearance and wardrobe is what they need to feel youthful and beautiful again.

Makeovers aren't just for those who feel like they need a refreshing change; they are amazing stress relievers. Most makeovers include facials with head and neck massages; pedicures with calf massages; manicures with forearm massages. Your makeover will be more than just a makeover; it will be highly therapeutic, promoting good health.

With this economy and how hard everyone is working to maintain their quality of life, I think we all have forgotten to have fun. Makeovers are fun! Whether its the perfect Saturday afternoon with the girls, or just your private escape, there's just something exciting and relaxing about getting a makeover.

If you have decided that a makeover is just what you need, then do a little research into the spas and salons in your area. If you think you would more comfortable to have your makeover at home, ask the spa/salon it they provide at-home makeovers. Most independent beauticians are more than willing to accommodate you, at a relatively affordable cost.

Makeovers aren't just for the ladies! Gentlemen, you can certainly benefit from a makeover as well. Especially if you have experienced any type of hair loss. A hair transformation could make you feel confident and attractive again.

So if you are feeling a bit tired, over worked, stressed out, or simply bored with the way you look, go ahead and indulge yourself, you may find that a makeover is the way to go!

Best Hair Salon Treats Clients Passionately

If your ambition is to be the best hair salon in your town then you won't really have much competition.

The best salon will induldge their clients with good customer service along with delivering the client's desire for that session.

I can guarantee to you that most (the 80/20 rule applies) don't and won't discipline themselves to do what you do. And won't have the results that you do either. They (the 80%) won't sell themselves as you will simply because the energy required to be the best is too great for most.

You can't fake enthusiasm and you can't create a faux compassion for your work if it's not burning inside.
It does come from an inside source and it exposes itself to those that you serve.

Hair professionals give exceptional service to their clients sincerely because that passion to give ... is already there and it comes out in a natural way to each of their clients. Now, with that being recognized, let's look at some of the things that the best hair salon would give because we can all learn how to be "the best."

Let's start with; producing a high quality salon experience. Isn't it amazing that some of the hair stylists that would like to make the most think the least about giving their clients specifically what they came in for.

And so instead of building a monstrous client base one client at a time, they promote a cattle run and push as many as they can into their chairs. So, when times do get tough (like right now) their customers don't feel any loyalty to them because they want to get some extra for their investment.

That's called value and you and I love exactly the same thing when we spend money. We want a great value for the money that we lay down on the counter.

When you create a high caliber salon experience for your clients, in effect you're disclosing to them that they won't get treated like this anywhere else. So, yes, they might spend a couple more dollars with you but they will realize that they have been to the best salon as well.

This absolutely shows your passion for your trade and towards helping people ... those everyday people that desire the extra psychological edge of looking and feeling good about themselves. Because that internal affirmation is used by them in their heart to produce the very best that they can be in their related field. And it is all generated by you.

The best hair salon is achieved by the best in the business. Caring, compassionate hairdressers that absolutely love what they do and the outcome that they create in the hearts and minds of their clients. So let me pose this question to you; can you change the outward look of someone that spends time with you today?

Can that penetrate deep down into their inner being and give off genuine energy and compassion for their work? Yes, and yes!

Recognizing the "power of change" that comes from quality time with a quality hairdresser creates in the clients mind the "best hair salon" and deals more than just some satisfaction to you. It will bring in new clients for you to perform your creative talents on in the not to distant future.

Don't we all want some more customers that not only recognize what we do but appreciate it as well?
It's a rhetorical question but it's true ... we all seek to be understood and applauded. So who goes first?

I think that it better be me ... then I can expect my folks to respond to my endeavors with their kudos.

You might not believe this, but most hair stylists under-serve their customers. And if you’d like to know how to increase the loyalty of your clients especially in these challenging times get a report on how most hair stylists under-serve their customers.

How Can Natural Skin Care Products Make A Difference?

Everyone is going natural, and who can blame them? The skin is one of the body's most noticeable features. It is constantly exposed to chemicals and other harmful influences like UV rays and stress. The foods we put into our bodies can also influence the appearance of our skin. Since there are enough chemicals and negative influences affecting our skin, we should steer clear of chemical-based skin care products, and opt for a more natural approach. Here are some of the benefits of using natural skin care products:

1. No chemicals. Each day we are around chemicals that are used to clean, gas from vehicles, and some of us are even around cigarette smoke. These things are not good for our skin. Constant exposure to a variety of negative things can leave our skin looking aged, dry, cracked, and old. Natural products are chemical-free.

2. Natural skin care products treat the skin better than unnatural treatments do. Natural things like plants, fruits, herbs, etc., were put here to serve a purpose. It is a shame that some of us are still not taking advantage of these natural and plentiful benefits that are so readily available to us.

3. All natural skin care products possess healing properties that chemical-based skin care products do not. It is true that Mother Nature has given us all that we will ever need to take good care of our skin. Natural skin care products not only help to take care of your skin, they get down into the deeper layers of the skin to repair it and permanently heal it.

4. There are no allergic reactions. There is no eye redness, and no other forms of irritation to deal with. All of the man-made substances are absent, so there is no need to panic that you will be allergic to a natural skin care product.

5. Less use is needed. Since the products are genuine, there is no need to go back and constantly repair the damage done over and over again. All natural skin care products provide better quality, and the creams last longer when not being used.

6. Natural skin care products do not do additional damage to your skin. Chemical-based skin care products might appear to do some temporary repair to your skin, but over time, they are actually damaging your skin. This is what leads to the constant usage of chemical-based skin care products. Suppose that is how they keep their business going? They give you a little bit of repair, and a little bit of damage at the same time.

7. You do not have to worry about harmful substances getting down into your blood stream. It has been proven that over 60% of chemicals that we put on our skin get absorbed into our blood streams. When chemicals absorb into our blood stream through the skin, it heightens our chances of developing eczema, allergies, breakouts, oily skin, cancer, and other various illnesses. With natural skin care products, you know exactly what is going on your skin, and you do not have to worry about getting sick.

As you can see, the benefits of using natural skin care products definitely have the upper hand over unnatural skin care products. Natural skin care is readily available to us only if we choose to use it. The results that natural skin care products have on our skin are better and longer lasting. It is no wonder why they are becoming more and more popular. It is a huge relief to know that more people are actually taking the time out to switch to something better for their skin, and easier on their health. We need to be using something that our bodies are compatible with, not something that we are constantly going to be at odds with. All natural skin care products are the answer.

Lower Back Tattoos Are Popular But You Can Make Your Own Style

Lower back tattoos are by far the most popular type of tattoo for girls and women. 20% of women do tattoos on their lower backs, and that percentage is only rising! A lower back tattoo is a bold and sexy way to project the image about yourself that you want to.

Most lower back tattoos are located in the middle of the lower back, but there are also tattoos out there that are located more to the right or the left of the spine. Having an off-center lower back tattoo tones down the signal that most people get from a lower back tattoo, but it is still nowhere near as popular as the more bold spine-placed lower back tattoo.

Getting a symmetrical pattern design for your lower back tattoo is both popular and attractive. There are several types of patterns to get tattooed to the lower back by the best tattoo artist, and most of them are symmetrical. Flower, tribal, or Celtic symmetrical designs and patterns that spread out from the dead middle of the lower back are especially popular. A perfect vine of flowers flowing and blooming out from your lower back can be very sexy.

There are two downsides to the popularity of the lower back tattoo: The reputation and the popularity itself.

Since lower back tattoos are so popular it's difficult to really brand yourself as original or unique if you have one. One fifth of women have a lower back tattoo, and that is no amount to scoff at. If you're striving for being unique with your new tattoo, one of these is not for you. Consider a tattoo on your shoulder or on your hand.

Like anything that's popular, there's a certain kind of stigma that follows the tattoo residing on your lower back. Because of where it is, the lower back tattoo has been nicknamed "the tramp stamp". The name and what it implies is self-explanatory. When a girl bends over, the tattoo is usually visible unless her shirt is long enough to reach long past the lower back. When considering getting a tattoo design keep in mind its popularity and what comes with that popularity.

If the lower back tattoo seems like it's for you, despite what more negative people might think, then you're joining in a trend that is sure not to die out anytime soon. Lower back tattoos on women are on a roll and it doesn't look like there is going to be any stopping it. If you're worried about what people might say or don't want to conform to a normal tattoo, try an off-center lower back tattoo as your own variation. Lower back tattoos may be extremely popular, but there is no reason for you to avoid throwing your own style into the trend.

Sensitive Skin Care Products For Beautiful Skin

Sensitive skin care products are now in vogue! More and more people exhibit skin sensitivity and have adverse reactions to cosmetics, environmental issues, and toiletries.

Sensitive skin care products are being sold more and more because there are very few people in the world who have perfect skin. Most of the time skin problems are the result of the products we use on our skin. Most sensitive skin care products on the market today are sold as all-natural and many are quite effective in helping most sensitive skin problems.

There are many places that you can get a professional facial as well as a skin type analysis. These places often offer free facials and trials of their sensitive skin care products. It gives you the chance to try out different sensitive skin care products to find the ones that are most appropriate for your skin.

A survey recently showed that 50% of women and 40% of men regard themselves as needing sensitive skin care products. Scientific studies show that later life sensitive skin issues are correlated with a weakening of the outer most skin layer called the skin barrier. Further, it's been shown that the sooner an individual uses sensitive skin care products and strengthens the skin barrier, the healthier and younger looking skin will be later in life.

If you aren't sure if you need sensitive skin care products, there are several signs:

· First, the skin becomes oily and broken-out in the summer but then dry, red, and tight during winter.

· When emotionally stressed, the skin becomes red and puffy or breaks out in a case of adult acne.

· Many people needing sensitive skin care products find that they blush or become flushed more easily than most.

As for skin care products, people needing sensitive skin care products, will likely have experienced rashes or irritations from several products, especially those that are heavily scented. In cases of extreme sensitive skin, this extends to household products as well - detergents, kitchen or bathroom cleaners, and hand soaps can all cause various reactions, even spicy foods and too much exercise can lead to skin irritation.

In summary, check the labels on your skin care products. Avoid fragrances, artificial dyes and the various paraben preservatives, as they can cause irritation and possible health problems. Sensitive skin care products that are made from all-natural ingredients are your best bet for resolving generally sensitive skin or occasional flare-ups.

Permanent Hair Straightening Basics

Permanent Hair Straightening has become very popular as recent styles of pin straight hair are the in thing. This technology was developed in Japan where straight hair is desired by most women. This process is generally called Japanese Hair Straightening but in the US, Canada & UK it is also referred to as Ionic Retexturizing, Japanese Straight Perm, Thermal Reconstruction, and Rebonding. This is a very intensive process that leaves the hair completely straight, and feeling silky and smooth with a glossy appearance. It works by breaking down the hydrogen bonds in the hair's cortex to remove all curl and waves. Since this is a permanent restructuring of your hair, it will last until new hair growth, which will of course come in as normal.

Permanent Hair Straightening only works on Caucasian or Asian hair. It is not recommended for African hair which is considered more fragile. For African hair you are better of with relaxing which is especially made for African hair. If you have used a relaxer on your hair in the past you should not get your hair permanently straightener as these two processes are not compatible and you may see breakage or fall out. Also, be sure to inform your stylist about other processes like bleaching, hair color, highlights etc. that you have used in the recent past. The best way to make sure you are a good candidate for this process is to have your stylist do a strand test. Actually your stylist should be the one to suggest this if they are professional and and experienced and are looking to get you the best results. Although straightening can be done on colored hair, be sure to follow general guidelines of waiting two weeks or more before and after.

If you do decide to go ahead remember that hair straightened by this process will keep your hair looking smooth and shiny for six to nine months depending on your hair growth rate. Therefore the 4 to 6 hours (depending on hair length) it takes for the process is definitely worth it. You may also think that the cost of $500-$800 for a good experienced stylist is worth it as it will cut down on daily styling time for many months. I will caution you to use only shampoos and conditioners recommended for your new shiny mane. Primarily you will need deeper conditioning, maybe even leave-in conditioners, and styling products with sunscreen.

I have many friends that swear by Japanese Hair Straightening and have not personally heard any horror stories. I myself am considering it but am still mulling it over. One thing to remember is that permanent means that you will not be able to have any curls or waves - no curling iron will work. So it is a commitment for over six months so choose wisely.

Basics of healthy weight gain

Gaining weight can be very daunting to some. People believe that by simply not watching what they eat, the weight should pile on, just like it does for other people.

If you are underweight and don't gain weight easily then the completely opposite is true for you. You need to start watching what you eat more and more.

A healthy weight gain consists of mainly gaining muscle tissue in the areas that you want. Muscle looks the best, it makes you feel the best, it adds a lot of functionality to your body and has a lot of other benefits. You do not want to gain fat, which will make your skinny body very ugly, by adding cellulite and fat in places you do not want. There is nothing worse then a skinny body with fat covering it.

So here they are, the things you absolutely need to do to gain healthy weight effectively:

Caloric intake. You must be consuming more calories then you're expending. Your body needs energy to build new tissue and gain weight. You need to start counting calories and know exactly how much energy you are getting. An average male will need to consume between 3000 and 4000 calories a day to gain weight. The number will depend on person's genetics, weight, and activity.

Macro and micro nutrients. You need to be getting the right amounts of carbohydrates, proteins and fats for to most efficiently put on weight. Your diet needs to be balanced. Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals. Make sure you're getting enough fruit and veg.

Whole food. this ties in with the previous point. Your carbohydrates fats and proteins need to be coming from healthy whole food sources. Most of your vitamins and minerals also need to be coming from real fruit and veg and not the food supplements.

Exercise. Exercise helps in two ways. Firstly it allows you to gain the weight in all the right places. Secondly it can promote release of hormones, which promote weight gain. Heavy weightlifting is one of the best forms of exercises for healthy weight gain. Squats, deadlifts, bench presses and pull-ups are some of the exercises you should be doing.

Consistency. you need to consistently be exercising and eating your meals. That means exercise at least 3 times a week and have at least 3 meals a day. Make sure you have big meals and regular snacks. This is what makes or breaks any body transformation.

Those are some of the very basic things, that you need to know and apply in order to effectively gain weight. there is a lot more information out there that can help you put on weight in the most effective ways.
